Video: Restore the Recycle Bin to the Desktop in Windows XP

The Recycle Bin made its debut in Windows 95. And that little wastebasket icon has been a Desktop staple ever since. That is, unless you accidentally delete it. And for Windows XP users there’s no menu option to bring it back. During this week’s TR Dojo episode, I show you a quick Registry edit to retrieve your Recycle Bin icon in Windows XP.

And to save you a bit of time when making the edit, here’s the name of the registry key that you’ll need to create:

{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
